It was the 12th of August 2019 . My brother and I were playing in Centennial Park when my stepmom and grandmother walked up to us holding two little kittens. I felt my heart skip a beat when I saw the precious little fellas. I picked up one. He had a white tip at the end of his tail, so I named him Tipsy. My brother picked up the other and, thanks to his chocolate addiction, named him Coco. To this day, we still have Tipsy but Coco ran away around March 2022 .

My little brother and I were playing in Centennial Park while doing a rite of Gilbert. We were doing a sacred ritual called playing in the woodchips. In it you play in the woodchips. That is when we saw the car of our grandma and Mom drive up to the park.

“What is happening?” I had questioned

“Looks like mom and grandma are back from shopping,” my little brother remarked

“Let’s go over to check it out,” I had said with exaggerated tone

So we ventured forth to figure out what was going on. We had seen two small cat carriers one was sitting calmly and doing nothing wrong. The other was screaming with all of its might.

“Gee whiz! Looks like they have cats!” My little brother shouted with exaggerated vigor

“Golly gee! But why are they here?” I exclaimed loudly

One of them had a very obvious tip on the end of his tail, the other was normal except for his screaming. That was when my grandmother said that

“We can both choose one of the cats,”

“I pick the one with the cool tip on his tail!” I had announced excitedly

“I pick the silly little one!” My little brother exclaimed

We were handed our cats, I had thought hard about what to name mine but I landed on Tipsy. My little brother thought about his before remembering that he had a really good chocolate bar earlier that day and he had decided to name his Coco.
